Spring Heath is a family-run coarse fishery set within a ten-acre holiday park on the edge of the village of Knockin, Shropshire. Just three miles off the A5, with easy access to the M54 and within reach of Birmingham, Manchester and the Welsh border, the fishery sits in a quiet, natural setting that the owners have worked to keep as undisturbed as possible since taking over the site in 2016. The fishery holds two coarse pools. Eccleston Pool is a two-acre, self-populating water with four small islands and shallow margins, well suited to beginners and improving anglers, holding carp to 15lb alongside tench, bream, roach, rudd, chub, crucian carp, perch and golden orfe. Blurton Pool is a more demanding two-acre carp water holding around 100 carp, many over 20lb, at least nine thirties and three fish recorded over 35lb, alongside tench to 9lb and perch to 5lb. Anglers can fish from a mix of purpose built platforms and natural swims, with disabled access and toilet facilities available on both pools. The site includes log cabins overlooking the water, two of which have their own hot tub, plus five serviced touring pitches for caravans and motorhomes. A small bait shop is on site, though maggots and worms are not stocked, and there is no wifi anywhere on site, keeping the focus firmly on a peaceful, disconnected break.
