The Estate Lake – Solihull is a secluded 2.5-acre lake surrounded by peaceful woodland in Knowle, West Midlands. This exclusive hire venue caters for up to four anglers at a time, making it an ideal retreat for small groups wanting privacy and a quiet session. The lake was fully drained in 2018, restructured, and restocked in 2021 with over 150 carp ranging from 10lb to 22lb—many of which have shown fast weight gains since. The lake features clay-lined margins, depths between 2ft and 9ft, and a mix of natural estate lake features including lily pads, reeds, overhanging trees, two islands, and a boathouse. Anglers can use bait boats, and an additional float rod is allowed per person. Wildlife is plentiful, adding to the natural atmosphere. There are four well-built swims, and the far bank near the manor house is out of bounds to maintain privacy and sanctuary vibes. Facilities include a flush toilet, hot shower, fresh drinking water, 230v power sockets, CCTV, Wi-Fi, and an indoor seating area with a log burner. The site is fully fenced and dog friendly, with bait available on location. This is a 24-hour minimum booking venue with no day tickets or visitors permitted.
