This established water contains 150 specimen carp ranging from 15lb to an impressive 38lb, distributed across varied underwater features including gravel bars, marginal shelves, and deeper holes. The clear water with partial weed coverage creates an ideal environment for both ledgering and stalking approaches, while 13 well-positioned swims ensure anglers have plenty of space for comfortable sessions. The pit's diverse topography rewards tactical angling, with shallow gravel bars providing excellent feeding areas and deeper sections offering holding spots for larger specimens. Recent captures have included several fish over 35lb, testament to the water's exceptional growth rates and feeding programme. The venue's reputation for producing personal bests makes it a favorite among serious specimen hunters, while the variety of features ensures that every swim offers genuine potential regardless of conditions or season.
