Rosie's Retreat offers a completely unique fishing experience within the Arrow Meadow network, combining 25-30 carp between 12lb-25lb with an extraordinary population of 60 Wels catfish ranging from 20lb to a massive 95lb. This 1.2-acre clay-dug pool reaches depths of 6ft, creating an intimate setting where anglers can target two completely different species using varied tactics and approaches. The venue's dual-species nature means sessions can vary dramatically, from steady carp fishing using traditional tactics to the raw power encounters that come with hooking one of the resident catfish. The 95lb top weight catfish represents one of the largest specimens available in UK waters, while the resident carp provide consistent action between the more explosive catfish battles. Five swims around the pool ensure good coverage, with anglers able to adapt their approach based on whether they're targeting carp or catfish during their session.
