Saltby Lake near Melton Mowbray presents one of the most technically demanding challenges in the Arrow Meadow portfolio, with its 5.5 acres featuring a distinctive "egg box" weedy bottom that creates complex underwater terrain. Housing 110 carp up to 32lb with depths ranging from 4ft to 16ft, this venue rewards precision and persistence from experienced specimen hunters. The 32lb top weight and healthy stock of doubles and twenties make the effort worthwhile for those who master the venue's demands. Ten swims strategically positioned around the lake provide various approaches to the water, each requiring adapted tactics to deal with the unique underwater features that make Saltby such a rewarding challenge.
