Willow Lake represents the pinnacle of specimen fishing within the Arrow Meadow network, offering 10 acres of mature gravel pit fishing containing 200 carp to an exceptional 40lb. This former coal mining site has developed into a world-class specimen venue with rich silt beds, established marginal cover, and complex underwater features that provide perfect habitat for large carp. As a Site of Special Scientific Interest, the venue observes a closed season from 15 March to 15 June, adding to its exclusive appeal. The lake's maturity shows in both its physical features and fish behavior, with natural food sources supporting incredible growth rates and specimen fish that fight with exceptional power. Twenty strategically positioned swims provide comprehensive coverage of this exceptional water, from shallow silty bays to deeper gravel areas.
