About
Pine Lake is a recently renovated, canal-style venue featuring 15 well-spaced pegs, offering a quiet and productive experience for anglers. With a widened profile ranging from 20 to 28 metres, a consistent 5ft depth, and a metre-deep far shelf, it is ideal for tip, feeder, and pole fishing. Formerly a stock pond until 2015, it is now heavily stocked, making it one of the most action-packed waters on the complex. The lake holds a dense population of Ghost Carp, F1s, Commons, Mirrors, and Skimmers up to 6lbs, offering reliable sport throughout the year. It’s especially well suited for newcomers, juniors, and anyone looking for non-stop bites using a wide range of fishing methods. Pellet tactics dominate, with hard pellet over micros proving consistently productive both across to the far shelf and on the short pole line. Pine is particularly popular in the warmer months when fish confidently patrol the margins and respond well to pellet-based approaches. The lake’s straightforward layout, manageable width, and high fish density make it an excellent choice for building confidence, refining skills, or simply enjoying a busy day’s fishing in relaxed surroundings.
