About
Willow is one of the most popular day ticket waters at Partridge Lakes, offering 20 well-maintained pegs and a prime location near the Terrace Café, tackle and bait shop, toilet facilities, and main car park. Its accessibility and consistent year-round performance make it a favourite for anglers of all experience levels. The lake features a unique donut-shaped layout with two central islands, providing a range of fishing opportunities for both pole and feeder tactics. With depths ranging from 18 inches to 7 feet and a width between 11 and 16 metres, Willow is ideally suited for targeting a broad mix of species using waggler, feeder, or pole methods. It was recently connected to Piper Lake, improving the habitat while preserving Willow’s distinctive fishing experience. Willow is well stocked with a variety of species, including Commons, Mirrors, F1s, Barbel, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Perch, and Golden Tench, with sizes ranging from 6oz to over 20lbs. Popular pegs such as 1, 2, 9, 10, and 11 provide excellent swims close to amenities, while Peg 2 is noted for producing quality Perch. Whether fishing tight to the island with a feeder or down the edge with corn, Willow continues to deliver excellent results throughout the year.
