The Claypit is situated on the Sweeney Estate which is exactly one mile from Weston Venue. It had a complete revamp in 2017 with 36 pegs. The Clay Pit has been a real success story for Weston with lots of work and water management - it is now arguably one of the best shallow fishing waters in the country. Any method you want to fish will work well at "The Pit" with fantastic Roach fishing on offer with specimen silvers being taken at over 2lb.
