Arrow Meadow Pools offers exclusive hire fishing across 4.5 acres of stunning Worcestershire countryside, set in the former grounds of Terry Thomas' residence alongside the tranquil River Arrow. The fishery features two distinct waters: the 1-acre Main Pool containing 80 specimen carp from 20lb to 38lb with an average weight of 25lb, and the diverse Pleasure Pool stocked with multiple species including chub, tench, koi, perch, grass carp, sturgeon, and barbel. The Main Pool represents serious specimen fishing, stocked in 2018-2020 with hand-picked carp from VS Fisheries and AJS Fisheries. Originally 35 large carp were introduced, with 25 exceeding 20lb immediately and the remainder between 18-20lb. Additional stocking of 35 more carp from 14-25lb has created an exceptional head of fish, with 12 known specimens over 30lb and the current lake record standing at 38lb. The pool's modest size means natural food is abundant, requiring minimal baiting for productive sessions, while two purpose-built swims provide optimal fishing positions. The Pleasure Pool offers variety and family-friendly fishing, perfect for float fishing between serious specimen sessions on the main water. Complete facilities include shower block, flush toilets, fresh drinking water, 230v power sockets, WiFi, indoor seating area with log burner, and comprehensive security with CCTV and electric gates.
