Blackthorn Fishery

The East Lodge is perfect for anyone, but we have made extra space in the bedroom, and it accommodates a large open wet room bathroom for less mobile guests. It is the closest to the car park and offers level access from the single fishing peg to the lodge. The lodge features a spacious modern kitchen with gas oven, integrated grill, gas hob, large integrated fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and all cutlery/crockery. The bedroom has a super-king divan bed with 1500 pocket sprung mattress that can be split into two single beds on request, with French doors and black-out curtains. The bathroom is fully tiled in modern wet-room style with overhead rain shower. The large sliding doors open from the living room onto a large sandstone patio area and single fishing peg. Includes outdoor furniture, lighting with dimmer switches, large lockable container for fishing gear, and Mediterranean style stone BBQ grill.

The South Lodge sits at the most southerly point of the lake, and enjoys the sunshine in the afternoon and evening during the summer months. It also enjoys stunning views of Mynydd Myfyr, one of the highest peaks in the Trefonen hillside. The South Lodge sits on a double swim and so can accommodate up to 2 anglers fishing 3 rods each. The lodge features a spacious modern kitchen with gas oven, integrated grill, gas hob, large integrated fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and all cutlery/crockery. The bedroom has a super-king divan bed with 1500 pocket sprung mattress that can be split into two single beds on request, with French doors and black-out curtains. The North Lodge sits at the most northern edge of the lake and faces south, catching the sunshine for most of the day. It sits on a double swim and so can accommodate up to 2 anglers fishing 3 rods each. The lodge features a spacious modern kitchen with gas oven, integrated grill, gas hob, large integrated fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and all cutlery/crockery.
