About
Lathom Fisheries has been established for 20 years and operates four well-stocked coarse fishing lakes in the heart of Lancashire. Based in the quaint town of Burscough, this year-round fishery offers excellent sport for both match and pleasure anglers. The fishery features four distinct lakes, each with its own character. Lakes 1 and 4 serve as dedicated match venues, while Lakes 2 and 3 cater to pleasure anglers. Lake 2 stands out as the specimen water, holding large carp up to 32lb alongside quality barbel, bream, and tench. Lake 1 offers varied sport with carp to 20lb, barbel to 8lb, and a good head of silverfish. Lake 3 provides prolific F1 carp fishing ideal for beginners and pleasure sessions. The fishery boasts excellent facilities including a large car park, full toilet block with disabled access, and a summer cafe serving refreshments. Steve, the owner and resident bailiff, is usually on hand to provide advice and assistance. With day tickets available from the bailiff and competitive pricing including discounted rates for OAPs and disabled anglers, Lathom Fisheries offers accessible fishing in a well-maintained environment.
