A two-acre pool with two islands, set in a tranquil spot on the edge of woodland. Holds much larger carp than Eccleston Pool, with approximately 100 carp present, many over 20lb, at least nine thirties and three fish over 35lb. Average carp size runs from upper doubles to mid-twenties. This is a challenging water for the dedicated carp angler and is not a runs water, so at least moderate fishing skill is required. Pole and feeder fishing are not permitted.

Day tickets are £15.00 for up to two rods per adult, subject to availability. Minimum 2.5lb test curve rods and minimum 15lb line are required, along with a large unhooking mat and a landing net at least 36 inches wide. No pole or feeder fishing. Rods must never be left unattended. Children under 16 are not permitted to fish this pool (the fishery's terms and conditions page separately states under 14).
