Island Pool offers the angler more of a challenge, with an undulating bottom and depths in excess of 9 feet. A large head of natural food, including bloodworm and freshwater mussels, means fish are less dependent on anglers' baits. The pool is stocked with carp, F1s, skimmer bream, roach, rudd, the odd chub and tench, plus very big perch to over 5lb.
